London Venue Awards 2017 recognises &Meetings for a third consecutive year
The only dedicated meeting rooms provider to meet judges criteria honoured to have been short-listed
On Friday 20 October 2017, &Meetings Director Ashleigh Sharp together with BE Offices Business Centres Director Nick Gandy joined event space industry representatives from across London for the annual London Venue Awards having been once again short-listed as a finalist.
The judges of the London Venue Awards selected &Meetings’ Threadneedle Street centre in the ‘Best New or Refurbished Venue‘ category, the third consecutive year that the meeting rooms provider was shortlisted in this category. The only dedicated meeting rooms provider to have been short-listed in any category for the 2017 awards, &Meetings found themselves in the company of world-renowned restaurants, hotels, sports grounds, art galleries, museums, race courses and even one of Her Majesty’s warships.
Ashleigh Sharp, Director of &Meetings, said: “We were so thrilled to have been shortlisted for a third year and honoured to be among such prestigious and well known venues. ds. Last year our Cheapside venue was shortlisted and highly commended by the judges for its impressive communal areas. This year we were delighted that one of &Meetings other City venues was recognised, one which only opened at the beginning of the year following a £2m refurbishment programme.”

The London Venue Awards celebrates venues of varying sizes with such diversity as football stadiums to boutique restaurants, historic buildings to the most contemporary venues. The award ceremony took place this year at The Brewery with over 100 venues shortlisted, some in more than one category.
