&Meetings approved to provide exam venues
Already approved for educational and training purposes &Meetings meeting rooms can now also serve as exam venues.
Visitor Economy Guidance for England has been updated to confirm that event spaces can currently be used for education and training purposes where reasonably necessary.
The published guidance extract reads:-
“For the purposes of work that cannot be done at home (such as examinations) – if social distancing can be maintained and the venue can demonstrate it has followed the COVID-19 guidance.
Event spaces, including conference centres and exhibition halls, can be used for reasons permitted by law, including business events of up to 30 people where reasonably necessary, and for all education and training purposes.”
